Nicknames: Parsles

Occupation: Homeschool student, self-proclaimed master hacker
G.H.O.S.T or Civilian: Civilian

Face Claim: Luka Couffaine from Miraculous Ladybug
GENERAL INFO
Personality:
An introverted homebody, Parsley would stay at home forever if he did not have a dog to walk at least two or three times a day. Parsley has a hard time forming connections with others, and he keeps his social circle small, limited primarily to the caretaker who raised him, the handful of delivery people that often visit (a purely professional relationship - he buys a lot of things online), and the employees at the local bakery (the only people he goes out of his way to visit - for bread). Parsley did this to himself by transferring out of the local public school system and into online schooling when he was around ten, and he doesn't regret a thing.
His primary reason for leaving public school, however? Crowds. He really does fair well in crowds; they make him panic.
While he is not particularly sociable, he does not go out of his way to avoid it (though he might drag his feet to answer the door or stare at his phone until an incoming call goes to voicemail). He has a hard time following conversations unless he is truly interested in the subject (or the person themself).
Terrible social skills aside, Parsley is comfortable on his own. His upbringing forced him to be more independent than other children from a young age; though, his upbringing also made him rebellious (but mainly toward his parents). He is highly intelligent and observant, and he has never had any issues with academics. In fact, he excels. He just gets bored easily, which is why he turned to computers and software from a very early age.
Likes: tinkering, coding, gaming, music, baked goods, animals, anything he deems cute
Dislikes: crowds, holidays, his birthday, zucchini, mushrooms, bitter foods and drinks, phone calls (prefers texting)

History:
Parsley does not remember too much about his childhood, and he cannot recall a single memory from the time he lived in France. Due to occupational requirements, his parents packed up and moved overseas to Pennsylvania. They bought a townhouse in the heart of Witwicky, hired a caretaker, and left their four-year-old son in the caretaker's hands. Work kept them preoccupied and out of the house for the majority of the day. Even when they were home, Parsley rarely saw them, often only a glimpse before they disappeared into their bedroom to catch a few hours of sleep, unless they only stopped by to grab something before leaving once more.
They may share the same last name and blood, but they were strangers even in their own home. From a young age, Parsley stopped seeking them out during their rare appearances. His lack of interest in them went unnoticed by all but the caretaker. She tried to reach out to his parents on multiple occasions, but she eventually stopped once her job was on the line.
As he grew, Parsley began to take advantage of his parents' disinterest and the freedom it gave him. When he did ask them for anything, he would catch them off guard when they were home. They would nod and wave him off no matter what was asked.
Online school? Fine.
Credit card? Sure.
Thousands of dollars worth of equipment? Whatever, just keep it in your room.
Puppy-- well, better to ask for forgiveness than permission, right? Parsley quickly adopted that philosophy after bringing home a Goldendoodle puppy without asking his parents (or even his caretaker) first. His parents came home to a dog they were not aware of, and the only reason he was able to keep her was because the caretaker made a convincing enough argument about an empty house, boys and their dogs, etc.
The kitten he would bring home later fell under the umbrella of, what the parents don't know won't hurt them. Of course, that was before Java took aim at his father's shoes, and Parsley only got away with it because work called his father back in immediately. Some sort of emergency? He didn't care to pay attention.
Entering his teens, the caretaker's hours were cut in half. Parsley could take care of himself (she taught him how to cook in hopes he would not eat takeout all the time), and she would only need to come over for cleaning. He was sad to see her hours reduced so much, but there was nothing he could do about it. He at least tried to keep the townhouse in a manageable state so they could spend time together while she was on the clock instead.
As time went on, his parents returned less and less. Perhaps he should have asked what they did for a living (he still has no idea), but this was normal for him. Their absence went unnoticed since the bills were still being paid, the electricity was still on, and he still received the annual birthday card in the mail (he's pretty sure it's scheduled). Life was perfectly fine, as far as he was concerned.
