Primus it had been a long few weeks.
GHOST had gone rogue, they were basically back at war. What the pit was going on in the world? Wheeljack felt as though they’d fought an entire war over nothing now. That they were now all going to have to go back to war, and even more worrisome. Some of their kids may have to go to war. It was, in his open and honest opinion, soul crushing in a way to know that no matter how hard they tried to protect the next generation they just found a new kind of war to fight in.
So he’d decided to go to the park to clear his head.
He spent most of his time in Autobot City right now, Primus knew that he was trying to avoid Witwicky after all. So there he was kind of sitting on a bench and watching some of the younger Bots and humans play. Even if there was a certain tenseness in the air, he could tell everyone was just trying to avoid the elephant in the proverbial room and have a nice day. “Maybe I’ll go for a high grade after.”

She knew it. She knew there was something up with G.H.O.S.T.!
Clematis was so torn by everything that was going on. She never did fully buy this whole alliance with G.H.O.S.T. as much as she wanted to. There were too many things that just seemed like red flags to her right from the start, especially the whole thing about Autobots needing to register with G.H.O.S.T. or be considered rogues. It's why Clematis agreed to that deal that she wouldn't need to provided she delivered medical supplies on a regular basis. She didn't like that they were torturing Decepticons, and it made her glad that she forced them to use her supplies to treat the captured Decepticons too. In what little ways she could, she was able to help even the Decepticons and it didn't bother her if they never thanked her for it. It was something she didn't even expect.
But with this whole Task Force thing and now G.H.O.S.T. going crazy, it made everything so much more difficult.
The azure and lilac femme had just wrapped up a shift at Cyber-Remedies and just wanted to study to take her mind off of things. It'd been a hot minute since she'd gone through her old research notes, but more importantly she wanted to study medical research. She wanted to be as helpful as she could as the medic of the task force, and that meant brushing up on the notes she had.. or more specifically the research notes that Ratchet had sent her back when she met him. Clematis felt the park would be a nice place to go to study, though it would've been nicer if it was a warmer season. Winter wasn't so bad, but she did miss the Earth flowers. Sure the parks still had the Cybertronian metal flowers, but there was something to be said about having both together at the same time.
Walking through the park to find a place to settle down with datapad in servo, she spotted a familiar figure on one of the benches. She walked up to them, not wanting to shout from a distance. "Hey Wheeljack. Wasn't expecting to see you here today."

Wheeljack jumped a little.
Primus, this whole situation had him way too jumpy didn't it? Honestly, who could blame him though? He was still amazed that the other Autobots were taking it so... Well. Or if not well, that they were easily able to go about their daily lives and pretend they weren't on the cusp of another war. Either way, he was thankful that the voice was only someone he knew: a friendly face in Clematis. To be honest, he could probably use a friendly face with all of his wires standing on end the way they were.
So he turned around with a big smile and tried to hide the fact he was so tense. "Oh, hey Clem! Yeah, I uh... Guess I needed to get out for a bit," He admitted that much. "It's kind of been a long week. Y'know. Lots to do. Lots to see. Hey! I'm working on this new project for Optimus and all too."

A long week? More like a long month.. or at least what felt like it anyway. So much training and work, but of course that had been that whole thing that'd been all over the news. Something about humans who were turning into Cybertronians and how the humans were not exactly happy about that. Clematis didn't profess to know all of the details, but it sounded pretty bad if it was causing tensions everywhere especially between the Autobots and G.H.O.S.T. Things were already strained enough as it was between the two, and now this whole thing only made matters worse.
"Yeah.. no kidding. It's like we can't catch a break. I don't really know what's going on with this whole transforming human kid thing, but I gotta imagine he's probably not having it much better right now. I mean, he's gotta be terrified especially if this is all new to him too. I don't know if that's the case or not, but I like to think about how others are feeling too. Sometimes it's easy to forget that." Especially when there were much bigger problems out there like the whole rogue Decepticon thing, not to even mention the Autobots trying to pull away from G.H.O.S.T. It was easy for things to slip through the cracks, and it only made these types of situations that much harder to deal with. No matter what you did, someone was going to suffer.
"I've been helping out as well. Top secret thing I'm afraid, but at least I get to be a part of it with Hot Rod." The task force was supposed to be a secret from what she remembered, and she didn't know if Wheeljack was included in the ones who were supposed to know about it. The azure and lilac femme smiled a bit as she took a seat on the bench, faceplate heated up a bit. "It's been awhile since I've last talked to you, but, umm.. Hot Rod's my boyfriend now. Fiancé technically going by human terms, but we still like calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend. Old habits die hard." Nervously she chuckled, hoping Wheeljack would at least be excited by some good news.

Wheeljack nodded.
He hadn’t gotten a chance to talk to Scott himself yet. He was sure that the kid wanted his space at the moment and he was being protected for the moment. So he hadn’t wanted to crowd him at all. “Yeah I don’t know much about what’s happening with him either. But he’s definitely caused a big stir and pissed GHOST off,” Wheeljack pointed out. “According to a friend of mine they even put out a threat to Bee and his kid, Nick. Fragging bunch of low-life’s for that if you ask me.”
Oh! That was definitely an interesting development if you asked him. Boyfriend and girlfriend? Fiance? How quickly had that gone down!? It almost seemed to him a little rushed? “Wait, fiance?? That was awful quick. But I mean, congratulations,” He finally managed. “He’s treating you OK at least though I assume?”

Clematis already knew there were rising tensions between G.H.O.S.T. and the Autobots even if they were never spoken aloud, but now it seemed that things had reached a turning point possibly for the worst. Whatever was going on with this whole stir as Wheeljack had called it was about to get ugly. Clematis just felt like there was no other way it could be avoided considering she already knew Optimus wanted a prison for Decepticons made on the Earth's Moon while she and a few others were tasked to track down the rogue Decepticons. What did shock her though was Wheeljack's news about Bumblebee and Nick. "Wait.. G.H.O.S.T. knows? I thought Bee was supposed to be in hiding with the Maltos. And I only just found out about Nick not that long ago too.. I hope they're both safe, but I guess that explains why I haven't heard from Bumblebee in awhile."
Though that did make her worried about her own situation too. "Only a matter of time before G.H.O.S.T. calls me a rogue too. I never really aligned with them and struck a deal that I would deliver medical supplies to them on a regular basis and they'd be fine with me not wearing a badge, but now..? I don't know. If there's bots there that still need aid, I don't want to cut them off either."
Wheeljack was rightfully surprised to hear about Clematis' relationship with Hot Rod, and while part of her was a little put off by his comments of how fast things seemed.. even she couldn't deny that either. It'd only been several months between meeting and dating and that proposal on Halloween night. The azure and lilac femme simply smiled with a nod. "Yeah~. Hot Rod is. We don't wanna become Conjunx until the both of us are certain that's what we want to do, so I came up with the idea of borrowing the human engagement term so that we're more than Amica, but not quite Conjunx just yet. Maybe one day, but yeah he's wonderful. I've helped him with some things, and he's also helped me realize that while I wanna help make things better for Nightshroud I've focused on that for the last four million years and kinda.. neglected living my own life; Making choices for myself because it's what I want. It's been quite a long time since I've been as happy as I've been around Roddy."

Wheeljack nodded.
Of course, GHOST wasn't supposed to know. No one was. He and Ironhide had done everything thy could to make Nick and Bee's relationship as quiet as possible. And then done twice the work to get a quiet, private adoption late last year. And as it turned out they'd seemingly known the whole time. The scheming, disgusting... Well... "Yeah, it's fragging awful. But the good news is, Bee legally adopted him in December," Wheeljack admitted. "Not a second too late basically. It would have been way worse if they had the power to take the poor kid away."
Wheeljack shook his head, definitely in agreement about what she was saying. "That's exactly why I didn't want in with GHOST in the first place. They hooked me in and I'm so fragging mad about that," He explained. "They had us all fooled..."
Well, at least they weren't married yet. Engagement made sense to him. After all, many Autobots had adopted human customs - as the human method of adoption had no doubt proven. So it made sense that this would be one of them. "I mean, nothing wrong with adopting that. Our cultures have learned a lot from each other. Good and bad," He explained. "But we should still grab an energon sometime. We can all talk about it." Damn, was he feeling protective?
