GENERAL INFO
Weapons:
Twin Rotor-Blades: In robot mode, Springer's rotor blades from his vehicle mode become twin single-sided broad swords made of cybertanium.
Shoulder-mounted Rocket Launcher: Springer has a rocket launcher mounted on his right shoulder and one folded down behind his left. Each launcher has a set of six explosive rounds, having enough power to tear through a few layers of steel sheet plating and has a heat-seeking feature. These launchers can be used in both robot and vehicle modes.
A-4 Pulsar Cannon: A powerful weapon that makes use of powerful, explosive energy something similar to a grenade launcher. This energy can be used against one or a group of individuals, being able to attach to an individual or various spots that can be denoted on contact or remotely. Multiple orbs of this energy can also be laid out across a wide range, creating something akin to a mine field and offering a level of protection.
Car Armor: Springer’s armor is heavily modified to be extremely durable for someone his size, making him almost akin to a moving battering ram. His armor is thicker and somewhat heavier than normal, making him capable of taking quite a bit of damage, including taking heavy artillery damage. This makes him capable of forcing his way through certain barricades and going into heavy fire, or even be something of a transport for allies.
Triple Changer: During the war, Springer went through an experimental upgrade to become a triple changer that the Autobots were able to steal from the Decepticons. Thus, he is capable of conquering land and sky compared to most of his comrades.
Energy Shield: Located in his left arm, Springer has a small generator that can create a type of energy force field that can withstand energy-based and physical attacks. This shield is capable of altering shape and expanding to protect at least three people in total.
Holoform: N/A
Personality:
To most, Springer could be considered a model soldier and a “knight in shining armor” sort. He has become greatly known as not only as a talented, skilled solider but much more. He is a highly dedicated and self-confident individual, being the type that does all his tasks to the best of his ability and beyond, and can boast the skills that pay the bills without the need for exaggeration or arrogance. Heroic, courageous, and out-going, Springer isn’t afraid to jump into action or danger, never blinking and never shrinking away in the face of the most dire of situations. Through thick and thin he will lay down his life or test his mettle, being deeply and fiercely loyal to a fault and always the social sort.
However, Springer’s attitude comes with its faults. His bravery easily falls into downright reckless, going to the extremes for his fellow Wreckers, allies, and even enemies who might be in danger. He knows little fear and when he does have it tends to put up a facade to hide it. Springer does have a temper and tends to get irritated or frustrated at times when things go wrong, especially if it means he doesn’t feel like he’s done his best. In the heat of battle, Springer can also be merciful and merciless, being rather unrelenting and harsh, which he also shows towards traitors or those who bad mouth his faction. He knows the Autobots aren’t perfect, especially with his time as a Wrecker, but he knows a few bad apples don’t make up the whole faction.
Still, Springer is all around the ideal fantasy hero. Heroic, laid-back, and strong of will with some anger and recklessness, this green mech is certainly not one to take lightly. Many have praised and grimaced at his name, and many have noted his potential for leadership, a position Springer rarely shows interest in.

History:
Before the war, Springer was one of those Sparks kept on ice, emerging from the Well sometime during the Golden Age but not given true life until very late of the Golden Era. With growing unrest and discontent among the masses, Springer was one of those sparks put into a constructed cold body at the demand of the Elite Guard and put through a much stricter, shorter bootcamp than most would have gone through. The process was disorienting and brutal, forcing him and a handful of other recruits to face a sink or swim scenario in a number of courses, exercises, and classes, a load of information that was a little too much for half the recruits. Fortunately, Springer seemed to take to his role fairly quickly despite the bombardment of information and expectations.
In fact, the green mech quickly proved himself a star recruit, in months graduated with the highest honors and being put out in the field to help maintaining the peace on Cybertron. Unfortunately, in his short tenure with the Elite Guard, Springer was less than impressed with his superiors as well as the High Council seeing first hand some of their corruption but finding himself in no true position to truly do anything other than occasionally stepping in to help the innocent and putting his fellow Guard in line when they went too far. Though kind at spark and meaning well, his behavior eventually brought him some unwanted attention and was put on a probation as punishment. Though enraged at the turn of a blind optic to the unfairness among the castes, Springer decided to keep his head down as to not meet a worse fate, a time that would be his last among his Elite Guard comrades as the war soon broke out not long after.
Naturally, when hell broke loose Springer joined the Autobot cause from the start and was for much of the war placed under the command of Kup, having the skills he obtained among the Elite Guard refined and improved, making him a more efficient, deadly warrior. During his run with Kup's unit, Springer became close to the old warrior as well as the racer Hot Rod despite how different their personalities were to his own. So too did Springer become known for his bravery, fearlessness, and wild abandon when it came to missions and combat, often taking on the most dangerous, outlandish missions or certain burdens most other Autobots would not. It was one of these missions that the green mech was operating alone that he had a run in with the infamous Wreckers, finding himself caught in the crossfire of one of their missions and saving the life of their then leader, Impactor. Though unconventional, Springer stuck around to help them complete their mission and was even offered membership personally by Impactor for which he initially turned down.
However as the war progressed, Cybertron became more and more of a shell of its former self and Springer was one of those that volunteered to take on more and more off-world missions, losing connection with Hot Rod and Kup during that time, and eventually found himself coming across the Wreckers once more. By then, their numbers had greatly dwindled and they more or less operated independently, but the encounter allowed Impactor to make another offer to the green mech, still convinced the younger warrior was a better fit to their crew than a mere ordinary warrior. With some thought, Springer agreed the second time around. From then on, Springer became part of the Black Ops group, participating in various missions above the normal danger he once took on and occasionally putting his morals to the test, crossing several lines he would not have but hardened himself to. His skills, attitude, and all around presence eventually earned him the spot as Impactor's second-in-command, but it was a position not without their occasional butting of heads especially with how Impactor seemed unhinged and beyond violent.
Unfortunately, this disagreement came to a head on the planet of Pova when the Wreckers came face-to-face with their perceived rivals, Squadron X, resulting in an all-out brawl the Wreckers won and captured the Decepticons. But, not satisfied with simple containment, Impactor personally took it upon himself to execute the Decepticon crew much to Springer's protests but kept restrained by the other Wreckers. It became the last straw for Springer who had a falling out with the Wreckers from then on, going his own way and eventually found his way back to the main forces on Earth where he was reunited with the main forces in 2005.
Though shocked to find the war had come to an end, Springer welcomed the peace that had followed, quickly adapting as he had becoming a warrior. Becoming part of the Autobot Security force and working as a liaison to the governments as a Black Ops agent, Springer has done his best to help maintain peace for humans and Cybertronians alike, hoping to meet familiar faces and trying to put his past as a Wrecker behind him.
