Hashtag was just so excited that she rushed out to Autobot City the first chance she got.
...only to arrive a few hours before she was supposed to be there.
A meeting had been arranged for her to meet with Thundercracker of all bots. She knew little about the guy aside from the fact that in the comics her family had he looked exactly like Starscream only a little more blue, but apparently the guy was pretty big on writing screenplays hoping to one day make it big in the industry. Even bigger than he already was! That was going to be a difficult feat for him regardless what with the Spielbergs and the del Toros and Camerons out there. Still, if there was one thing on the female Terran's mind it was that this was her chance to be a big shot. If Thundercracker actually got a script out there, he'd need actors.. actresses. No, he'd need a leading lady, and that lady was she! It didn't hurt to dream, but it would be the coolest thing to get to be part of some big screen movie magic.
As she waited, Hashtag took a seat on the stage of the outdoor theater she was asked to come to. At first she pulled out her datapad, scrolling through her feed of funny videos to see what all was new before she quickly grew bored. The purple femme felt inspired, and so she turned on a movie to watch. Hashtag was quite good at watching movies at rapid speed, and by the time the designated meeting time came she had already completed an entire marathon of sixty movies, and that was after slowing them down a bit. Leaning back, Hashtag spoke to herself regarding the last movie she'd watched at warp speed.
"Ya know.. I really think that Jack could've fit on that door."

The time of the meeting had quickly approached, and Thundercracker found himself surprisingly nervous. Nervous in regards he didn't know what to expect from the young cybertronian. In his opinion, he had never been one to be good with younglings, feeling he was far too boring, serious, and logic driven to be worth entertaining the young, much less helping them achieve some kind of worthwhile goal. So, he had no idea how he would approach Hashtag.
From what Optimus had said, they shared a love for movies, scripts, and the like. Did Hashtag have a love for all theatrics and video media or just a certain kind? Thundercracker had been dipping his toe into all types of media, see what truly inspired him, and so far he still held onto his love of movies and tv shows. A part of him was curious to what this young femme herself held interests in, and what was inspiring to her. Did she only strive to write her own screenplays as he was doing? Or was she looking to do camera work and special effects? A little bit of everything? He would find out soon enough as he approached the outdoor theater.
Despite his name and the noise he tended to make in his jet mode, Thundercracker moved silently from one of the stairs off to the side, just out of view of a purple femme sitting on the edge of the stage. Most likely that was Hashtag, the blue seeker observing the femme first before he made any move to get closer. Indeed, she seemed young, the youngest bot he had seen in centuries making him vaguely wonder where she had come from. But, it would be an inquiry for another time. Feeling he wasn't in any sort of danger or it was a trick of some kind, Thundercracker finally moved in closer, bemused as he heard her faint words regarding a rather infamous scene in the famous James Camron classic, "Well, lots of humans have tried to prove it, but I don't think anyone has conclusively proven if it was possible or not." Thundercracker spoke up, making his presence known as he stepped up to the stage, "Suppose like the number of licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop, the world will never know."
Well, that had been a little easier than he had expected to break the ice. "I'm assuming you must be Hashtag then?" Thundercracker inquired, offering a greeting smile. "Names Thundercracker, Optimus said you might be interested in having a chat."

Hashtag glanced up as a voice filled the air, looking around until she spotted the source. For the briefest of seconds she thought she was looking at Starscream, but the voice did not match the seeker she knew nor did the colorization of Thundercracker's armor. Starscream did sport some blue, but not as his primary color. This guy looked might have looked like Starscream, but they definitely weren't him. With a smile, Hashtag stood up as he spoke to her, introducing himself before saying Optimus had some sort of say in this meeting.
"Yep! The name's Hashtag, but hold on a sec." The purple Terran stood up as the trademark dial-up sound emitted as she thought. "Ah! So apparently it takes anywhere between 144 and 1,000 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. Sorry, you just got me extremely curious and I had to look it up. I can access the wi-fi anywhere and the entire internet's worth of knowledge is right at the tip of my digits." She felt the need to explain herself, feeling somewhat boastful of her unique ability. It was unlike anything that her Terran siblings had, and one could say she had the strongest power of them all and wouldn't necessarily be lying. If it had wi-fi, Hashtag could control it.
"Oh! Right. So.. I've heard you're big in the movie industry, or trying to be anyway. Well, I like movies! I'm also something of a movie director myself. Well.. home movies for my family, but that's besides the point. I've had a taste for the power of cinema and I wanna explore what options I have. Make it big maybe. I can direct and I can act. Almost a bit of a triple threat." Director. Actress. Internet Router with infinite speed. She could do it all! "I've watched thousands upon thousands of hours of cinema in just a matter of days, and I'm always looking for something new. So what all do you like to write, Thundercracker? What's your magnum opus?"

Thundercracker would be lying if he said he wasn't a little taken aback at Hashtag's enthusiasm and energy. For a moment, it reminded him of a certain purple seeker, one he had once called his best friend. Skywarp had always seemed bouncy and full of energy, granted extremely chaotic energy, but nevertheless she had been somewhat harmless prior to becoming a Decepticon and that had changed. But, her crazy, chaotic energy had seemed boundless. But in comparison, Hashtag was notably more innocent in her energy, excitable and eager, yet it was hard for the mech not to smile to himself, thinking about when things had been better, before Megatron's damned war.
"I was being more rhetorical than anything kid, but I like the enthusiasm." Thundercracker chuckled in amusement albeit intrigued she could connect to the Earth WiFi with such ease. "But pleasure to meet you too Hashtag." It was an odd name for a Cybertronian, but she was also far younger than any other Cybertronian he had ever met. Maybe her name referenced the social media phenomenon of using a hashtag for...anything really. Either way, Thundercracker was still attentive as the femme kept talking, already welcoming her eagerness and willingness to try something.
Maybe this wouldn't be so bad.
Once Hashtag explained herself and her media interests, the blue seeker smiled once more, "C-list at best Hashtag, only real defining aspect I have going for me is being the first Cybertronian director. But, I got a few movies out there with a decent following so I'd say its a start somewhere." Home movies, thousands of hours of cinema in mere days...this young femme was something else, perhaps even something of a movie industry prodigy. Granted, Thundercracker knew he wasn't exactly spectacular at finding talent, he had had his ups and downs, but with the young Terran before him he saw untapped potential. "Hey now, don't sell yourself short Hashtag, home movies isn't a bad thing, we all got to start somewhere. Sometimes you need that small budget to get to the bigger aspirations." Thundercracker assured her, kneeling to one knee to be more on her level. "In fact, the common thing I've seen regarding solo directors is they tend to use streaming platforms to display their skills, like YouTube for example." The blue seeker pointed out, hoping to keep her hopes high that she might have a chance in the industry.
His magnum opus...Thundercracker had never really given it much thought. He had been dipping into a little of everything much like Hashtag herself, but given the direction his movies and shows had been going he could narrow it down a bit, "Well...I'd have to say I seem to like historic drama, tragedies, war re-enactment, something that's exaggerated but heart-wrenching." The blue seeker answered after some thought. "But, I'm always looking to branch out with other subjects, which I'm hoping to find someone who can help me bounce ideas off of, maybe even be my understudy."

Oh that had been a rhetorical question. Hashtag laughed it off sheepishly, though at least Thundercracker seemed amused by it either way. She couldn't help that she was a seeker of knowledge in some regards, and it was those little life long questions she needed to have answers for. Thankfully, everything could be found on the internet.. problem was you often had to filter though a bunch of answers both right and wrong to find the one you're actually looking for. Sometimes Hashtag herself fell victim to that deceit, though she found some of the answers absolutely hilarious.
The young Terran listened as the seeker went on about his C-List projects, though mentioned that he'd at least developed a somewhat small following with his works. Interest immediately sparked as Hashtag's visor briefly lit up, immediately flying through the internet as she searched for the movies Thundercracker had worked on before immediately looking up reviews and means of watching those films. They'd be immediately next on her watch list, but something told her she was gonna enjoy the story of Susan Journeyer and Josh Boyfriend, the man as handsome a an F-22 Raptor.
Wait.. what?
"Definitely got your movies added to my watchlist now, but yeah. First film I tried to make was a documentary of how my brother Jawbreaker found the perfect alt-mode for himself. We borrowed a camera from our dad and Jawbreaker didn't.. exactly know how to use it. Thought all he needed to do was point it at someone and it'd make them answer any question he had. Power of cinema wasn't exactly with him at the time, but we both learned a lot from that experience. He didn't find his alt-mode that day and I was about to scrap all that footage.. but then he salvaged it. Worked with our other siblings to make a beautiful masterpiece of the footage he had. Of course.. we kinda focused on cars and boats and stuff to see what worked for him, and turned out he was a dinobot all along!" Hashtag chuckled, thinking back to when her first time as a director got to her head. "But now I like filming whatever I can including dance videos and what not. Friend of mine's kid is a streamer, and I dunno. Maybe that's something I could try one day after we don't have to be in hiding so much."
Thundercracker did have a few ideas of what genres he liked, and it did get Hashtag thinking. Dramas were something Hashtag loved and she'd sit there and re-enact moments from various soaps she watched just because she found acting them out so much fun, but something heartwrenching and had a bit of war re-enactment.. Hashtag's optics practically beamed. "What about making a movie about your history? Maybe a dramatic retelling of key moments from the war on Cybertron? My siblings and I only know about what happened from what the comics say and what our parents have told us, and we're supposed to be learning about our Cybertronian heritage and what it means to be transformers. It might be a touchy subject, but something like that would really get me interested.. and I'd love to help! Directing, acting, coming up with ideas.. I think it could be fun! That is.. if you wanna do something like that. I'd understand if you didn't given.. you know. The subject matter."
