Being this close to civilization was rare for Airazor. Just about most human cities were physically too small for her to bother with being able comfortably move about, even in her falcon form. Sure, she could soar in and out of the buildings, occasionally perching precariously on the corners of those with wider roofs, but they still were like massive anthills. She could easily outclass some of the buildings when transformed, and do damage with her claws and stooping dives alone.
To say the least, she rarely bothered after so many centuries. Well, that was until Autobot City became a thing.
From afar, Airazor had spent many years and hours watching, observing the day to day life of the cityformer making their home for bots and humans alike. She observed the sizes of the buildings, their shapes, calculating if they could truly handle her form even. But after watching bots three times her size in height and bulk move about easily, she determined it was safe to move in closer. So, she finally pushed herself to leave her perch on one of the trees in the surrounding forest of Autobot City, soaring above in lazy circles for a time before she finally moved in closer.
For the first time ever, she could comfortably weave in and out of the buildings, gliding on the currents to allow herself to be held aloft, observing her reflecting in the shining, smooth metal and glass. Sights so familiar yet foreign, feeling she had encountered such technologies and sights before, but trying to remember would only cause physical pain, pain she did not wish to feel in this moment. Instead, she let her mind’s eye imagine, trying to piece together familiarity yet only able to do just that, imagine.
To onlookers she passed, some could mistake her for an actual peregrine falcon, moving a little too fast to properly see her size. But eventually, the avian female came to a slow descent into the nearest park, flaring her wings before she made a safe landing, easily being half the height of some of the synthetic and real trees, catching the eyes of many who seemed to stare in awe at the massive avian. To many she must appear to be an unidentified falcon, while to others who paid close enough attention would get a faint signal, something of which Airazor didn’t seem too concerned as she curiously gazed at the passerbys.

It was a nice relaxing day in Autobot City. Hot Rod was taking a nice drive through it's streets. He honestly hadn't expected himself to be hanging out in the city so often, but ever since he and Clematis had started dating he'd been here almost every day. Probably should look into getting a permanent residence soon.
As he drove through the streets something caught his eye. A falcon landing on a nearby tree at a park. Hot Rod intended to brush it off at first but then his eye caught something.
That falcon was way too big to be a normal one. But it was subtle. At first glance, you probably wouldn't notice it. But Hot Rod was used to taking in the sights at high speed.
Hot Rod hit the brakes. He transformed from his Dodge Viper mode to his robot mode and started approaching the falcon to get a closer look.

Airazor didn't seem to mind the looks, turning her head to look at each face of bot and human alike. Their curiosity didn't last long before they continued about their day, maybe a few lingering to see if she would do anything. Perhaps those infamous bird watchers that had gradually become so common in this era. It was a bit amusing really, but she merely watched with a neutral expression.
At least until the sudden screeching tires from Hot rod caught her attention, causing her to raise her head towards the young Autobot.
Well, definitely not the reaction she would have imagined. Her own curiosity piqued, the avian femme inched forward before jumping off the branch to land on the ground to meet the red and gold mech and only then was her size compared to the bird she had scanned evident. By comparison, she was five times larger than would be expected, a foot taller than the average human man and her feathers at first glance looking organic in appearance. Quiet at first, Airazor observed the vehicular cybertronian, intelligent eyes scanning over his frame, taking in what was so foreign to her yet familiar as the city felt.
"I may not be a vehicle, but I do believe braking so suddenly like that is a road hazard is it not?" Airazor finally spoke after a few minutes of not saying a word. Her question was rhetorical, but her tone suggested amusement rather than really scolding Hot Rod. "But then again...I suppose it is not every day one sees a giant talking falcon now is it." She mused.

Hot Rod watched as the falcon flew down close to him. It looked at him curiously. That wasn't normal bird behavior.
This was only further confirmed when the bird started talking. Hot Rod was slightly taken aback but he recovered quickly. He knew there was only one logical explanation for this.
"You're a Transformer." Hot Rod surmised.

Airazor observed how Hot Rod reacted when she approached. He initially seemed taken aback, raising her curiosity of wondering if bots like her weren't all that common as she suspected. Sure, she had seen other Cybertronians who were animal based, but they all looked as mechanical as their robot forms compared to her rather organic like appearance. Sure, her organic-like feathers and skin were more synthetic than anything, but it still made her stand out than the average individual.
Still, the mech seemed to quickly recover, quickly guessing she was just like him.
"That I am." Airazor confirmed, stepping back a foot or two, "Maximize!" Airazor flapped her wings once to lift herself from the ground followed by the familiar sound of her systems shifting and changing, a falcon soon being replaced by an avian looking femme being slightly taller than the Terran Nightshade, a very different symbol emblazoned where most others might have a Decepticon or Autobot insignia. Landing once more, Airazor gave her form a long stretch for a moment before rolling her shoulders with a soft sigh, "Been a while since I transformed, pardon my making you wait." She apologized as her green optics shifted to focus back on the young mech, offering a soft smile.
"But where are my manners, my name is Airazor, pleasure to meet you." Airazor introduced herself, giving a small bow of her head towards Hot Rod.

"Hot Rod. Nice to meet you too." Hot Rod said offering his hand to Airzor.
He looked over her curiously. He'd seen Transformers who turned into animals before, Skullcruncher, Tarantulas, Weirdwolf, Pounce, and Wingspan, but Airzaor was definitely different than them. Mostly because of her organic components. Hot Rod had never seen a Transformer like that before.
"So are you an Autobot?" he asked "I didn't see you during the war with the Decepticons."

Airazor shook Hot Rod's hand, thinking the name couldn't be more fitting to the mech. His paint job as well as his alternate mode were quite flashy, making her wonder if he was one of the energetic young bots who couldn't sit still. He almost reminded her of...No, don't think about the past now. The last thing she wanted to do was worry someone she had just met with her damaged neural processor kicking in.
Though, it didn't seem that would be the case as she had hoped. His first question made her hesitate for a moment, her gaze shifting to the ground as she tried to consider her words. "I am...an Autobot of sorts, but not the type you are familiar with." How did she explain exactly was she was? Even she only remembered bits and pieces, some things coming out at times on their own to a point she did not understand. Not always. "But, you could say I am more like a...different type of Autobot, a descendent." Airazor must have sounded insane when those words first came out.
"I have watched your war from afar, but my form has made it easier for me to blend in, be undetected." Airazor visibly winced as her processor was working overtime already, trying to draw on the right information. "I am what you would call a Maximal, a group from...the future. A few centuries ahead in fact." The avian female's jaw clenched and she winced again, resting two fingers on her temple shaking her head to push back the pain. Why now of all times.
"It is a bit hard to explain."

"A different kind of Autobot?"Hot Rod asked with curiosity.
But his curiosity turned into anger when Airazor told the next part of her tale. It made Hot Rod's expression turn cold.
"Wait? You've been watching us all this time and you didn't do anything!?" he asked angrily.
If there's one thing he couldn't stand it was those who stood by and did nothing when they could have helped. That had been him once. He was never gonna do that again.
But once again his emotion changed. This time to confusion.
"Wait the future? So what you're a time traveler?"
This sounded like it was going to be very confusing.
"Look I'm the wrong guy to give a complicated answer to. Science makes me twitchy. You think you could give a simple version?"

Airazor crossed her arms as she watched Hot Rod's emotions change as she continued to speak. Curiosity to anger to confusion, all going as quickly as it came. All the while, she herself remained calm, giving a light shrug of her shoulders, "I already fought my war, and your war technically is not mine." She pointed out, not thinking it would have made much of a difference if she had joined in on it or not. "But, I did help here and there without revealing my presence, being from the future could complicate things."
Not that she was already complicating it now.
The femme could only sigh as Hot Rod inquired what she meant by from the future. "I will explain it the best I can, but I warn my memories are scrambled at best and I am going off what little I do remember." She told him, tentatively trying to settle the situation to an extent. "From what little I do remember, we had a type of technology that made it possible to traveling through time and space, somewhat like your space bridge technology. So, you could say I am a bit of a time traveler, more like...an explorer. So, I come from the future and traveled to the past, only to survive to the present. If that makes any sense."
Airazor wished she could give a better explanation, to explain who and what she was better. But, the pain of just trying to remember the basics was already giving her a processor ache.

Hot Rod thought for a moment. He tried to take in the bots words.
"So... What you're saying is... you're from the future, but you traveled back in time to the distant past so now you're here in the present day?"
"That's wild..."
Hot Rod mused for a bit. If this bot had access to more advanced space bridge tech that could be the key to helping reestablish contact with Cybertron properly without having to rely on the odd shuttle trip like with Jazz.
"Maybe you should speak to our leader Optimus Prime. He can probably help you out better than I could."
He was still mad this bot hadn't bothered to step in to help with the war properly but he could put that aside for now. At least until they sorted things out.

"Four million years from the past to be exact." Airazor explained, glad to settle the situation for the time being. Arguing about her place in all this wouldn't get them anywhere, so she was more than glad to move along from that. "But as I said, the information I know and can recall is vague at best. Unfortunately, I am plagued by amnesia so I may not be as much of help as you might think." She warned gently, not wanting to get the young mech's hopes up.
Though the mention of Optimus made the femme have a flash of recognition at the name. "Optimus..." The avian hissed as she grabbed her head, flashes of images from a time long gone going through her mind. The name had meaning to her, but why was presently lost to her. The images were random and disjointed, some good, some sad, and some making her feel a deep sense of loss and pride. Why couldn't she remembered her own past? Why did it have to hurt so much?
"I will...speak with the Prime, if that would work best. Lead the way...Hot Rod." Recovering from that sudden rush of pain took the falcon a few minutes, shaking her head as she closed her optics, taking a few slow deep intakes to focus elsewhere. Once it ebbed away somewhat, she finally looked back up at the warrior, nodding that she was ready when he was.

"Yeah gotcha" Hot Rod said.
He guided Airazor to Optimus's office in Autobot City. "He should be in there. Good luck" he said.

Airazor followed the red and yellow mech as he guided her towards the Prime’s office, feeling odd to be walking among her kind like this. She was always use to being in her falcon form these days, being more comfortable in beast mode than robot mode and feeling more connected to the animal side than her Cybertronian. It was perhaps what also made her feel out of place. Earth had always felt more like home anymore than Cybertron, having attempted to imagine herself on her home world many times.
Once they arrived to the office, she gave a quick glance at Hot Rod, nodding her thanks, “Thank you, may we meet in the future.” She paused for a moment, having faint amusement in her optics, “No pun intended of course.” She added before making her way towards the Prime’s office, reaching her hand up and giving a few firm knocks.

Optimus was in his office busy going through paperwork. It seems like that's what he did a lot of these days.
He could really use a chance to get out but his duties as a G.H.O.S.T. agent kept him busy. That's why it was so important Jazz get that Taskforce together to help deal with the escaped Cons.
He was almost done when he heard a knock on the door.
"It's open"
When the guest entered Optimus took a curious glance at her.
"Hmmm I don't know you. And I know almost every Transformer on both sides. Are you a new Terran?"
