G.H.O.S.T, Civilian, or Other: Civilian

GENERAL INFO
Weapons: Multiple Inventions, Small Ion Blaster
Holoform: A tall, muscular man in a scientist jacket with big rimmed glasses. Nerdy, but athletic all at once.
Personality:
Wheeljack is best described as the big, jovial uncle that you never knew you wanted. A little on the overenthusiastic side, he's known for his fun personality and creative background. He tends to air on the side of "mad scientist" but he definitely tries to side-step the term. In his mind, he's just a scientist, just one whose inventions range from exploding in his face to being fully-functional weapons. There is no in-between and he likes it that way. After all, as a former Wrecker it just comes with the territory.
Other than his scientific side, Wheeljack is also a big softie. He's spent a lot of the time since the war contributing to the war relief effort instead of joining up for more chaos with G.H.O.S.T. He's known to often be found working on inventions for the betterment of mankind with some of his old war buddies. He was also one of the first to adopt a human and takes his duties as a father to his son very seriously - even if he's now grown and out of the house. As he playfully admits to his son's sometimes-embarrassment "He'll always be my little sparkling."

PERSONAL INFO
Family:
Dane Jackson (Adopted Son; Grown)
Mate: None, But Open
History:
Wheeljack was cold-forged near the middle of the Great War, with much of his first orns of life spent learning his craft. It was quickly discovered that he had an aptitude for both mechanics, and weaponry, both of which made him a worthy ally to the Autobot cause. Before long, he was one of Optimus' most trusted engineers, and a part-time Wrecker who equally enjoyed the thrill of adventure. When the Autobots arrived on Earth, Wheeljack was among those who came with Optimus, and again aided the Autobots with inventions and followed them into battle.
While on Earth, Wheeljack bonded with a human family - The Truberts and grew a deep respect for human life. It was a friendship that continued well after the war ended and Wheeljack settled into civilian life. Once the war ended, he was initially in despair for the loss of their homeworld, but the Trubert's offered him a home while Autobot City was built - and he slowly acclimated to human life. He lived with them forabout eight years, as his human charge grew into an adult. It was during this time that said charge welcomed his first born, Dane, into their lives and Wheeljack's. But as Autobot City neared completion - tragedy struck, and his friends were killed in a car crash.
Dane, only a year old, was left an orphan - but not for long. Wheeljack had found his purpose beyond inventing on Earth, quickly adopting his young friend and becoming a father. The first few years were hell, given Wheeljack had no idea of how to raise a human toddler. But he wouldn't trade those golden years with his little boy for anything. He loved being a dad, and the more time went on, the more confident he became. Though Dane would always know who his parents were and how much they loved him, he none-the-less called him "dad" and adopted the last name "Jackson" in his honor.
In the meantime, he worked alongside human and Autobot scientists to create major achievements in human medicine and technology - generally settling in nicely. Now, Dane has grown into a strong, spry young man - a soldier like his dad once was. While Wheeljack worries, he also has built his own life on Earth to keep him nice and busy. While he's no longer a soldier himself, he is always at Optimus' call if he needs him. Once an Autobot, always an Autobot after all.
