Without any hesitation, Soundwave tossed Clematis aside in favor of leaving the Autobot behind to escape with Starscream and the femme who's name he finally knew. Starscream didn't even have to ask for the spymaster to protect him and Nightshroud. Keeping Ravage contained for the moment, Soundwave tossed around GHOST soldiers with his soundwaves as if they were mere playthings. He didn't care for their safety as he already had two other bots to keep safe as it was. GHOST could burn for all he cared, and he hoped that Megatron would go down in flames with it. Soundwave stayed close as he followed after the former air commander and the younger femme. It didn't escape his notice that she was glaring at him, but it didn't surprise him either. The mech before him had warned him that Nightshroud might not be so kind to the former TIC at first and that he'd need to be patient with her. Patience was something he had plenty of, but it seemed that Nightshroud did not as Starscream told her to leave without him. He honestly was caught off guard by this request, curious as to why Starscream was suddenly going to retreat back into the prison to escape a different way. It wasn't his decision to question the other's orders, but he took it as a silent request to keep the young seeker safe. "STARSCREAM: RETURN SAFELY." He watched as the seeker vanished from their sight, turning to look at Nightshroud. She looked frightened, confused and lost. They needed to keep going, and in an effort to snap the femme out of her panic he only caused her to rise in anger. His servo that had attempted to touch her shoulder was harshly swatted away before the crimson seeker screamed at him. Soundwave did not flinch as the femme bolted, instead watching as she took off. At least she was safe for now he supposed, but he would stay behind just a little while longer just to keep the area clear as well as wait for Starscream's coordinates for the meeting place. For now as he blasted more GHOST agents out of the way with his weapons, he took a moment to sent the former SIC a comm. <<"Nightshroud has escaped safely, however I believe it prudent you speak with her when you can. Your request for her to leave without you did not appear to sit well with her, and my attempt to comfort her ended poorly.">>

A cell block away, a slumbering giant awakened. Having been captured before the end of the War, Blackout had long since acclimated to the going ins and outs of his new ‘home’. In the beginning his grave injuries forced him into stasis for months at a time, but now they have been regulated to mere hours. While his crippled state saved him from most of the foreign and painful examinations, the screams and shouts of his comrades proved to be torture enough. Fortunately for Blackout, stasis had become a form of escape from his confinement. His condition enabled him to sleep through all the cries and blaring alarms...but not this alarm. This was a special one.
Prison Break
Blackout opened his optics and to his amusement the anti-energon field before him had deactivated…along with the stasis shackles on his stabilizing servos. With glee and gusto, the Behemoth got up on his pedes and leapt out of his cell. Although he didn’t have the strength for an EMP shockwave, the force of his heavy pedes slamming the ground alone was enough to shake the entire prison complex and shatter his shackles. Now free of his constraints, he continued to stomp his way out the block, sending any nearby GHOST personnel off their feet. “Pardon me, boys. But I’m afraid it appears I have overstayed my welcome!”

That all too familiar voice made the Seeker freeze in his spot. His bad luck was rearing its ugly aft again, this time, in the form of Skyfire. He knew the Shuttle would be fully decked out in war mode ready to fight until one of their spark was extinct.
Primus knows that’d only be temporary for him. He should have warned Nightshroud about his special spark. That’s why he felt bold enough to shout, from his cell, cheekily:
“Already in my cell. Why don't you come over here and check yourself?”
Starscream then sighed, putting the data stick in Clematis servo and closing her digits over it.
“Forget Skyfire. Please show this to someone who can help. Sorry… for what I’m about to do.”
The Seeker grabbed the cuffed Autobot, using her as a shield as he came out of his cell, facing Skyfire. When he spoke again, his tone was dripping with disdain.
“Oh please do. I cannot wait to see Skyfire, the great pacifist, murder an innocent bystander.”

Skyfire looked at Starscream, glaring. Some of the younger bots around, or ones that didn't know him, wouldn't realize that he was internally conflicted, for a moment. They would, however, recognize that he was plotting shot paths and ricochets which would avoid Clematis while damaging Starscream. It was a kind of 3D chess play that would seem foreign to any Transformer who wasn’t fully accustomed to freely moving in air and space. The angles were few, but he was certain that he could hit one. His carbine shifted away from Starscream’s center mass (where Clamatis was), to a point above his former commander’s shoulder. If he hit the shot, he’d be able to bounce it and hit Starscream in the back of the head.
"Peace is my strong preference, I make no bones about that. However, ongoing encounters after I was awakened on this ball of ice and dirt have proven that 'til all are one, there is no hope for peace. You once were a scientist. We explored worlds to expand the knowledge of all. You are the one who changed, Starscream. Any change I've suffered is because you forced it."
He knew that Starscream wouldn't hurt Clematis. His confidence was not because of her connection to Nightshroud, but rather because she was the only bargaining chip between him and being ripped limb from limb. Skyfire would no longer be so kind as to kill him and send his spark to the Pit where it belonged - instead he would damage his old commander's shell beyond repairs, and really take the sky from him.
"Dilemma. If I order you to release the girl, you will - and then you will transform and fly. I will transform immediately and overtake you in approximately five seconds at our full speeds. By that time, you will have primed your self-destruct and aim to kill us both - or at least send us to the same early grave to which I have been twice consigned. If I do not, you will kidnap Clematis, and Nightshroud will harm her, which is unacceptable. You have already harmed them both at least once before, when you personally bombed the facility in which they worked. Jazz and other Autobots are aware of this and have photographic evidence in their datatapes; I assume the Storm trio on Cybertron do as well, as they were your support wing at the time. If I attack you directly, you will harm her. If I do not act, I have reason to believe you will still harm her. As you have incited a general breakout and riot, I suspect the other Autobots are busy with your pawns, including Soundwave. Awaiting support therefore endangers not only Clematis, but others. Further assessments follow - Thundercracker is to be considered a non-combat unit; Skywarp is MIA; Thrust's last known location was on Cybertron, having passed through the Space Bridge before it could be destroyed; Dirge and Ramjet - location unknown. No other combat ready-seekers are in range by air or land. This would be between us alone. Inciting combat between us has the same effect as waiting. Releasing you is not within acceptable parameters."
He glared at Starscream, taking a step forward; but everyone there would notice that although the gun was still trained to bounce and hit Starscream, Skyfire's finger was not on the trigger. Accusations aside, he really was a pacifist at heart. And he'd worked out his logic to Starscream. "I accept the risk of you killing us both in your misguided desperation. Therefore: You will release the girl, immediately, and remain in your cell."
The calculus was set in his mind. They knew each other - even after all these megacycles, even after the Great War. For Skyfire to have so quickly run down the list of their former squadmates and dismissed them effortlessly meant just one thing, that this was personal to him. The problem with Skyfire, when he got like this, was twofold - first, it was hard to argue him from his decided course of action; second, his assessments were often annoyingly correct. He'd never been the kind to take 'no' for an answer; that was a part of what had made him a great explorer. He looked down toward Starscream, obviously ready to adjust his finger and shoot, having shifted his aim to Starscream's servo, following every motion closely - if he tried to hurt Clematis, he'd end up even more short-handed than he was in a standoff with Skyfire.
While standing there, he felt something smack into his shell. He didn't know who or what it was. Losing focus on Starscream put Clematis at risk - but if it was a Decepticon behind him, that could be a problem. He couldn't afford not to give Starscream that momentary opening - as much as it galled him to do so. He glanced aside at the Minicon, noting the lack of insignia. Whoever this was, they weren't involved in this fight; and that meant they didn't belong here in this prison in the midst of a breakout. He turned and spoke, barely above a whisper. "You should leave - now. You could get badly hurt by staying in this fight."
He hoped that the Minicon would recognize the extreme danger of being in a room with two seekers that were about to go to war.

The floor quaked as Blackout made his way through the prison blocks, blissfully ignoring any poor human attempt to impede his progress. Just when the Goliath found himself uncertain about which turn to take, he heard a familiar scathing voice around the corner. Starscream.
It’s been years since he last spoke with the conniving seeker. Starscream’s slanderous tale of Megatron’s defection aggravated him enough to the point that their G.H.O.S.T wardens intervened and moved him to another cell block. However, despite their differences, Blackout was eager for a reunion with his blasphemous comrade. After all, Decepticons were stronger together.
Now with a plan in mind, he stomped towards Starscream’s voice only to find him in a standoff with what appeared to be another Seeker…An Autobot Seeker? Oh…how interesting. “Starscream!” He proudly bellowed upon approaching the feuding seekers. “…And Autobot fiend! To what do I owe the pleasure of this glorious day?”

Something was wrong.
Something was very wrong.
Starscream should have contacted him by now whether it be him suddenly rushing in or responding via comm, but here Soundwave was standing alone like a fool. It would be easy to flee now like the former Air Commander wished, but their shared time together made it difficult for him to want to leave. Soundwave could put up a fight if not a decent distraction so that the other could escape if needed, but he also needed to get back to Frenzy and Laserbeak as well. Dwelling on it, the Spymaster made up his mind. He was going back.
There were many reasons to explain the lack of further communication, but Soundwave wanted to err on the side of caution. If something had happened, he wanted to be there to make sure Starscream didn't get recaptured. He'd willingly sacrifice himself so the seeker could escape. Starscream had been here a lot longer than he had, and Soundwave could handle the isolation a bit longer if needed. There would always be other chances to escape in a worst case scenario, but right now Starscream needed to get out of there and there was a distraught seekerling who desperately needed her sire. It was the least that he could do.
Dodging ammunition fired his way, the Spymaster made his way back through the doors and back to the cell block. It wasn't hard to see what had caused Starscream's delay given the oversized white seeker in the walkway. Skyfire.. So he had gotten involved, and he wasn't the only one either as a small Mini-Con and the familiar sight of another Decepticon warrior was fast approaching the seekers. When had Soundwave last seen Blackout anyway? Either way Blackout proved to be the perfect distraction as Soundwave rushed in from behind, a single servo reaching outward as he powered up his soundwaves in an effort to harm Skyfire.

Clematis didn't know what was worse: being used as a hostage during a jailbreak, or watching her pacifist friend threatening to harm Starscream. The femme struggled in Starscream's grip despite knowing she was very much overpowered by the mech using her as a shield. She could do nothing more but watch helplessly as Skyfire demanded the Decepticon let her go before going into various hypothetical scenarios of what could potentially happen. Clematis didn't want Starscream to get hurt in all this because she knew that it would only upset Nightshroud further, and she didn't want her twin to hurt any more than she already was. Though it was growing fainter by the moment, she could feel her twin's inner turmoil; her anger and her grief. Did.. something happen between her and Starscream? Is that why he had suddenly returned to retrieve the captive azure and lilac femme?
She listened as Skyfire continued to explain his thought process, but she was not prepared for her friend to say that Starscream had harmed both her and Nightshroud once before. Clematis didn't know what Skyfire had meant, but then the tall, white Autobot dropped the bombshell that Starscream himself had been the one to directly bomb the Urayan science lab. The femme gasped, optics widening as she turned her helm to look up at the former second in command of the Decepticons. Her optics displayed not only the shock of learning that tiny little detail, but also concern as she whispered to her captor.
"Does.. Nightshroud know?"
Regardless of whether her twin did or didn't know, there was no trace of anger in Clematis' optics. She was much too concerned with this entire situation and how they were all going to make it out. Skyfire was still threatening to kill Starscream, but much worse her friend was seemingly prepared to go offline trying. Her attention returned to Skyfire as her concern shifted into fear. She didn't want to lose her friend, but she didn't want him to hurt Starscream either! She didn't want Skyfire to take away the one thing that made Nightshroud happy, but what was she supposed to do? No matter what she said she doubted Skyfire would see past the logic of either locking Starscream up or terminating him, and if she spoke in defense of Starscream that only made her look like a traitor to the Autobots.
But they weren't alone for much longer. Someone had bumped into Skyfire, and now there was an unfamiliar Decepticon approaching them both. Clematis whined as she struggled a little more, but just out of the corner of her vision she caught yet another figure rushing in. With the lighting it was hard to say who it was, but catching those soundwaves powering up from the figure's servo meant only one thing. They were going to try and attack Skyfire from a blindspot!
"SKYFIRE, BEHIND YOU!" Clematis shrieked, trying to keep her friend from getting hurt in the only way she could.

Of all the Decepticons to show up as potential allies, why did it have to be a Megatron fanatic? Still, some heavy weight would be very welcome right now. Tuning out Skyfire’s rant, he focused on the newcomer cheerfully greeting them.
“Long story short, I know a way out of here but Skyfire is quite insistent on sending my spark to the Well…”
Even if won’t work was left unsaid, no one believed him anyway. Even so, he’d rather not become a haunting spectre again, it was very annoying.
“The Autobot is my bargaining chip to get out of here in one piece.”
Skyfire’s speech seemed to wind down so Starscream glared toward the tall white mech, only to notice the mini-con stumbling around and behind Skyfire… He wasn’t the only one who saw Soundwave.
As Clematis screamed, Starscream lifted his arm and fired a few times at the ceiling. He didn’t stand there to watch what was next, he turned around on himself, glaring at Blackout.
“I can show you how to get out of here but after that, we part ways.”
He tossed Clematis over his shoulder and started to run toward the corridor leading to the underground passage. Having a bit more free time, he reached out to Soundwave.
[Soundwave] <<Don’t get caught or I’ll never hear the end of it.>>

Quake stood there his arms and legs locked up. Held up by stasis cuffs.
He didn't know how long he'd been stuck there. Years probably. How many years he didn't know.
Years of not fighting. Not battling. Not destroying. Unable to move. Unable to die.
All because of one bot.
Bumblebee
The bot who'd gotten him locked in this stupid cell. The bot who took him down.
Quake knew someday he'd get his revenge as soon as he was out of these chains.
That chance came. As the power went down the stasis field generated by his cuffs came loose.
Finally
Quake with a roar teared open from his confinement. Movement! At last!
The humans ran and screamed. They must have said something but Quake didn't hear it. He began to kill all of them. The bugs who had kept him confined. He was free now!
They begged. The pleaded. It was music to Quake's ears as he snuffed out their sparks. He started running. If the power was off the other Decepticons had to be free too!
But where were they?
"Hey! Soundwave! Starscream!? Swindle!? Anyone here!?"he shouted as he ran through the jail.
Eventually he came across a scene. Looked like one of those dumb Autobots...Skyfire was it? Was being held up by Decepticons. And Starscream was there.
"Hey losers!!!"called Quake. "Is it too late for me to join this party!?"
It was good to be back.
