Everything was falling apart..
First Skyfire threatened to have Starscream move, and then Mire went MIA. Nightshroud had attempted to comm the femme multiple times in frustration, but she never could get an answer. She was running out of time.. The longer she waited, the greater the chances of Starscream being moved were. Nightshroud had gotten this close to finally reaching him, and she would never forgive herself if she let him slip through her digits. She'd made a promise to rescue him back when they'd met if something like this happened, but ultimately she needed the mech back. Every solar cycle without him was agonizing, and she felt herself inching closer and closer to the edge of insanity. She'd already felt herself slipping when she spoke with Skyfire, and the thought of completely going over the edge scared the crimson seeker.
That's exactly why she used Skyfire's own demands against him. The femme would contact her twin alright, but only to escort her to the very cell Starscream was being held in though she didn't divulge his name. Clematis was an Autobot, and Skyfire had already said that she could visit so long as she surrendered her weapons and showed no intent of starting a jailbreak. The only problem was her weapons. There wasn't much that could be done with built-in blasters, but her sword.. Nightshroud had been forced to abandon it in a safe location that she knew she'd be able to retrieve it once all was said and done; once Starscream was safe. That meant that she was only limited to her built-in weaponry and not much else.
Nightshroud sent out a message to Clematis days before she wanted to meet up to get things over with and it was a painstaking few days at that. She was left with no means of planning; no possible way of preparing. Getting in was easy, but getting back out was the hard part. There was no way that Clematis was simply going to let Starscream just waltz out of there, and even if she did manage to get the former air commander out there was still the entire headquarters to go back through. With just the two of them, the chances of being recaptured would be severely high with no second chances of trying it again. She'd be imprisoned just like he was, and she couldn't afford to wait any longer. When the day finally came, Nightshroud flew out to the designated meeting place so she could see her twin face to face for the first time in years.
Once they met the plan was simple. Nightshroud followed her twin in with servos cuffed behind her. It was the easiest way to show that she wasn't a 'threat', and it would appease those at security. Even with affixed blasters, she couldn't use them if her servos were bound behind her back. It wasn't exactly her proudest moment, but if it got her in then she'd just deal with it. Besides, it wasn't like it'd be hard to convince Clematis to remove them once they got to the cell block where Starscream was being held. On their way down the elevator to reach the cell blocks, Nightshroud decided to be slightly more transparent with her sister to kill the time. She told Clematis that the bot she'd desperately wanted to meet was in fact Starscream and how he had become an adoptive sire to her. She didn't care if Clematis didn't believe her, but as they talked a bit the elevator finally reached the cell blocks.
It took a hot minute to find the correct block to begin with. There were so many cells both vacant and filled, and even Nightshroud was stunned to see how bad off things were; just how cramped the cells were. It got the good old claustrophobia going knowing that if she screwed this up she'd be locked in one of these very cells with no means of escape. She couldn't let her processor dwell on that right now, shaking her helm as she walked alongside Clematis. As they drew closer, Nightshroud recognized some of the area from Skyfire's datatape that she'd reviewed. It was hard to tell the location from that tape, but familiar faces in their cells were the dead giveaway.
And then.. she found what she was looking for. Despite the stasis cuffs locking her servos behind her, Nightshroud dashed ahead before stopping directly in front of one of the cells staring inside with widened optics. "Starscream!"
There he was.. he was alive.. he was safe... She just needed to get to him. The second that the stasis cuffs were removed and the anti-energon field was removed the femme rushed inside running full speed at Starscream. She didn't care that the cell door was closed when she got inside. All she cared about was the fact that she'd finally found her sire.

Clematis had been.. stunned when Nightshroud had contacted her asking to meet up in a few days time. It'd been the first time she'd heard from her twin in years, and the fact that Nightshroud was the one instigating all this was such a good feeling. Maybe she'd finally wanted to make up for lost time, but it seemed that hadn't been the reason her twin wanted to meet with her. The crimson seeker wanted to see someone that was imprisoned in GHOST HQ, and she'd wanted Clematis to be the one to bring her there. Most would've thought it sketchy of course given that Nightshroud was a Decepticon, but the azure and lilac femme always had a tendency to think with her spark rather than cold hard logic. Yes it was risky, but how could she say no to something like this? Her twin was finally willing to reach out and needed help, and if she'd turned her down that would have only worsened their relationship.
And so, Clematis happily obliged.
The femme brought Nightshroud to GHOST HQ, and while she wasn't happy about it at all she was forced to cuff her twin's servos behind her. It was to prove that Nightshroud wouldn't be a threat during her visitation, but GHOST wouldn't have wanted it any other way. It was that or her twin would immediately be thrown into a cell too, and Clematis didn't want that.
She knew Nightshroud wouldn't be able to handle it.
Clematis lead Nightshroud to the elevators leading down to the cell blocks. She listened as her twin spoke to her, but when she revealed just who it was she'd wanted to meet.. the femme was shocked. Nightshroud had wanted to meet with Starscream of all bots, and he had become an adoptive sire to her. Clematis had heard many horrible things about Starscream during the war, but something else entered her processor first. Had.. Starscream been able to get through to Nightshroud? To help heal some of those wounds of the past? If that was the case.. how could she possibly refuse this visit now?
Once they reached the cell blocks, Clematis walked alongside her restrained twin. She looked around the cells, noting just how small and cramped they were. Even she didn't like how the Decepticons were being held; being treated. This was almost too cruel, and she wished that there was something more than what she was already doing right now to help their situations. Granted, they probably wouldn't even want her help, but she'd already been offering a little help through medicine and the gifts of handmade scented armor wax. If only she'd known that some of that wax had managed to get to Starscream himself.
Startled, Clematis chased after Nightshroud as she suddenly bolted before stopping directly in front of a cell, shouting Starscream's name. She stared in wonder as she both watched and felt her twin's concern and joy. When.. was the last time she'd ever felt Nightshroud happy? With a sigh, Clematis stepped behind her twin. She removed the stasis cuffs and powered down the anti-energon field preventing her from entering the cell. Smiling, she took a step back with the stasis cuffs in servo. "Go on~. Go to him."
She couldn't help but watch with a sad smile as her twin rushed inside, closing the cell door due to protocol. She stayed close, but wanted to give them some space too. All she knew was that they wouldn't be allowed to stay for very long.

Skyfire knew that Nightshroud was arriving at G.H.O.S.T. HQ, with the presumed intent of talking to Clematis, and seeing Starscream. He also knew, beyond evidence or reason, that she was going to try and break him out. Her list of allies was short, and he was quite pleased by that fact. But she was a resourceful young bot; and he had no reason to doubt her competence (nor did he doubt Starscream's deviousness). Sanity might have been in question, but not competence. He didn't like having to act without clear evidence; but so often Starscream was the one who drove him to it - no matter what millennium. Still, Skyfire internally ran down the roster of Seekers he knew to see who was active and who was missing. No one knew exactly where Skywarp had gotten off to; and Thundercracker wasn't allied to Starscream anymore. Dirge, Thrust, and Ramjet were MIA as well. The Storm Trio - Acid, Ion, and Nova - were last known to be on Cybertron (wherever it was). There were many other Decepticons, obviously, but those were the ones he thought of first in the context of Starscream and an escape attempt.
Skyfire waited in a nearby hangar, resting in vehicle mode, waiting quietly to find out if there was a problem. When it happened (or as he tried to convince himself, if it happened), he would be ready. He'd checked his missiles and all their ports. He was ready for a battle, for the first time in decades. He disliked fighting, preferring to let his intimidating size class be the deciding factor. For a scientist who wanted to study everything - even people, violence was the absolute last resort. How upsetting then, that the person who had once been able to command that violence would now be the target of it.
Optimus, Ratchet, and the others were not part of this. It wasn't their fight. This was personal. In a sense to Skyfire, it wasn't even about Nightshroud. It was about what Starscream would do, if he saw Skyfire in robot mode, missile ports open and primed, not just able but for once willing to rain down his anger like a valkyrie from on high.
But for now, all the large seeker could do was wait, and see.

Something was brewing. The GHOST agents were on edge, no one had been tortured recently, they had even been given energon. Starscream couldn’t shake off that something was coming and he was weary it would not be pleasant. It had felt safer to send Ravage back with Soundwave since the activity had picked up.
The Seeker had been even more on edge since, pacing around his cell nervously, recharge plagued with nightmares. The atmosphere was different from when a Decepticon was captured. The GHOST agents, when that happened, were giddy, happy to have a new subject to torture. What was happening now was so tense, it was making Starscream uneasy. Part of him was desperately hoping it was his plan finally setting in motion. That notion was squashed as soon as it entered his processor. The Seeker stopped his pacing by the window to look at Soundwave, not having to speak, just reassured to see him there. Then his pacing would resume, until the sound of a door opening made him jump. Dreading what was about to happen, he retreated to the back of his cage, eyeing the Decepticons around him wearily. The sound of a pair of pedes, puzzled him even further. Then one pair broke off, bursting into a sprint, running, getting closer before skidding to a stop. He’d recognize that colour scheme anywhere. The relief that flooded the Seeker nearly knocked him to the ground. He watched, trembling, as the twin caught up and let Nightshroud in after taking cuffs away. Next thing he had to do was brace himself because the femme ran straight to him. Starscream grabbed and lifted her before crushing her against him. “I’m so glad you’re safe. It’s so nice to see you, sparkling. I’ve missed you so much.”Nothing else existed around him, he was solely focused on his sparkling. So relieved that she was fine, that she did exactly as they had planned. Starscream was so proud.

Soundwave was just on guard as Starscream was. The mood had shifted within the cell block and GHOST agents seemed to have taken an interest in torturing the Decepticon prisoners. He knew not what this red beam was that went through the cells, but he knew one thing.
It hurt. It hurt a lot.
It had also reached a level where Starscream felt it was safer for Ravage to return to the spymaster, and while he himself did not entirely agree he chose to follow along just to keep things civil. They did not need any further discourse with everything going on, and there was no telling what would happen next. It was nothing more than a waiting game. Always had been. They just needed to wait for the right opportunity to present itself and then make their escape. Starscream remained insistent that his vengeful twin would be the one to come to their rescue, but even Soundwave had his doubts. He didn’t want to verbalize it to Starscream, but he didn’t want the seeker to get his hopes up only for said femme to be dragged in and thrown into a cell directly in front of the former air commander.
It wouldn’t do well for the mech’s already dwindling morale.
Still Soundwave did his best to calm the seeker, remaining stoic and visibly stagnant as ever. No matter what came their way they needed to brace themselves for it no matter how unpleasant it may seem.
The former TIC noticed the elevator’s arrival just moments before Starscream had even reacted, taking note of the two separate sets of pedes walking in their direction before one of them bolted. At first he assumed an escaped prisoner until he saw the restrained femme stop right before Starscream’s cell, shouting his name. Another who looked quite similar to the first then approached, releasing the first before letting her into the former air commander’s cell. The twins from Starscream’s tale most likely; which meant the Autobot still on the other side of the anti-energon field had to have been Clematis based on previous conversations he had heard when Starscream had rendered himself unconscious.
Even he couldn’t help but watch as the seeker next door tightly hugged the vengeful twin. So she had been a sparkling to him! He had wondered if that might have been the case given how protective Starscream had been to the point of not revealing her name. It was nice to see them reunited, but it was short lived. As Soundwave listened in on the conversations, alarms rang out throughout the cell block as one by one all of the anti-energon fields vanished. Taking advantage of his newfound freedom, Soundwave seized the chance to slip out of his cell and snatched the stasis cuffs out of the startled Autobot’s servos. In one swift movement he grappled the azure and lilac femme, slapping the stasis cuffs on her in order to keep her from fighting back.
The jail break had begun.

Clematis watched in awe, hardly believing her optics. She watched as Nightshroud not only rushed to Starscream, but watched as he lifted and clutched her tightly against his frame. She didn’t even need to hear her twin’s words to know exactly how she was feeling in that moment through their split spark bond.
Worry. Joy. Love.. Nightshroud felt all of those things and not just anger and fear.
Hearing Starscream affectionately call her his sparkling only further tugged at Clematis’ spark. He really had gotten through to her; helped her to feel anything again. Despite her smile, tears welled in the Autobot’s optics. It was so touching, but she couldn’t help but feel a little sad at the same time. Starscream had been able to help Nightshroud when she herself couldn’t. Maybe this was what she really needed, but that didn’t make it hurt any less. Still.. who was she to question her sister’s happiness? If the former Decepticon second in command was the one who could quell the storm in the crimson seeker’s spark.. then who was Clematis to judge?
As long as Nightshroud was happy.. That’s all she wanted.
Before she had time to process much else, Clematis yelped as the alarms suddenly sounded. The anti-energon fields all went down and with that meant every Decepticon that had been imprisoned could freely exit their cells. With widened, fearful optics she did the only rational thing she could think to do and stepped into Starscream’s cell. Don’t stand out in the open.. That was just an open invitation with how angry many of the imprisoned Cons were. Slowly she turned her optics toward the two seekers.
“Nightshroud.. please tell me this wasn’t your doing.”
Again she yelped as the stasis cuffs were suddenly ripped out of her hands by Soundwave who had snuck up behind her. She’d been so focused on her twin that she completely missed the spymaster exiting his cell. Before she could even act, Soundwave bound her servos behind her back with the stasis cuffs. Clematis struggled in the mech’s grasp but knew the odds were very much against her. Three to one in fact, and that wasn’t even factoring in all the other Decepticons that could easily get involved if they wanted to.

Nightshroud whined as Starscream held her tightly, wrapping her own arms around him tightly as she quaked. She pressed her face into him, letting her optics close as she listened to his words. He’d missed her just as much as she’d missed him.. It almost didn’t feel real, but it was. Her adoptive sire was really here, alive and well..
“I’m sorry.. I’m sorry I took so long..”
She didn’t want to let him go. She couldn’t let him go! Nightshroud knew that they needed to work on their escape, but she didn’t have a plan and she was ashamed to admit it to herself. It’d been her fear of losing Starscream that had driven her into this hasty decision as it was, and it had all been Skyfire’s fault for scaring her. It was something she’d never admit openly, but all that mattered was that she had her sire back. Even if everything went wrong, they were back together again.. but that didn’t mean the femme wouldn’t be further ashamed if she disappointed the former air commander. Nightshroud couldn’t fail now, but where was she supposed to go from here?
The alarms blaring even startled the crimson seeker as she hugged Starscream just a little bit tighter. She glanced around, optics widening as not just Starscream’s cell opened but every cell opened. Was this a sign? Nightshroud had no clue how this was happening, but she wasn’t about to look a gift horse in the mouth. Maybe it was Mire doing some behind the scenes work, but there wasn’t much time to question it as the perfect chance to escape presented itself. Of course, there was still Clematis to deal with. She knew that she was a pacifist and would be easy to take down, yet found herself smirking at her twin’s question. She may not have been the one to open the cells, but she was definitely taking the credit.
“You didn’t think I was leaving without my sire, did you? You really are easy to manipulate, Clematis. I knew you’d want to help me, and I took full advantage of that.” Nightshroud chuckled a bit, though hadn’t expected the blue mech from the next cell over to subdue her twin. She’d already planned on using those stasis cuffs on her, but he’d managed to beat her to it.
“You really did help me, you know, so don’t feel too bad.”
Looking back to Starscream she smiled, almost as if her whole demeanor had shifted. The maliciousness melted into concern. “We need to go. I’ve got some outside help I think, but I don’t know how much time we have to get out of here.”

If it hadn’t been Nightshroud’s doing that freed all the Decepticons, then who was behind it all? It had been the unexpected doing of a lone Terran who had been having a really rough afternoon.
Hashtag had just wanted to find an alt-mode so she could go back home and watch videos of sneezy puppies with her siblings, and the first vehicle she picked just happened to be a GHOST SUV. A few recruits had stopped at the local grocery store for ice cream and had mistaken Hashtag for their own vehicle, driving her back to GHOST HQ. She sat in the parking lot unsure of how to transform back, but it was as she tried to do so that she discovered her outlier abilities.
Suddenly Hashtag was nowhere, floating in an empty void of a room with transparent icons floating before her. She didn’t know what they were nor what they did, so she just started pushing buttons randomly in hopes that something would get her back to her body.
What she didn’t know was that she had tapped into GHOST’s Wi-Fi and one of those buttons had been the controls for the anti-energon fields keeping the Decepticons in their cells.
With the press of a few more buttons and fighting something trying to hijack her own systems and body, Hashtag finally exited that strange void and returned to herself. She fought off those trying to hijack her body and managed to escape not even knowing the damage she had accidentally caused.
Oops.

Day 48 of my arrival on Earth
Today I decided to venture a little further into the forest. Hopefully I would find somewhere new where they could help me. Or just hang out in company. Solitude was good but... I felt the need to be close to someone else. Despite all my time here, and what the humans told me, I had yet to see another Transformer.
I was flying between the trees carefully. Sometimes stopping to observe the animals and plants around me. It was peaceful and the landscape was beautiful. I decided to approach a huge rock formation covered with vegetation. "Mountain" it was called. Then I noticed a human path leading up the mountain, but it led to a stone wall. A dead end road, strange. Humans were strange anyway.
I wanted to get out of there and continue exploring, or maybe go back to my ship and rest for the rest of the day. I decided to take a walk around the mountain before heading back to the ship.
"I might see something interesting..."

What in Primus’ name was happening? One moment he’s holding Nightshroud, the next, an alarm blared out. He barely had time to get his bearings around as Soundwave cuffed the Autobot while she was distracted by her twin’s taunting. No time to ponder on what to do, his processor was blaring one thing as a constant.
['PING'] [FLY AWAY FLY AWAY FLY AWAY]
Tightening his hold on Nightshroud, Starscream grabbed Soundwave by a servos, pulling on it as he gestured towards the exit with his helm. He was trying to keep the panic that had built from being underground from so long in check as he calmly explained his plan.
“Exit is that way, we’re 2 doors away from the outside. Aside from Skullcruncher there should be no other Decepticons in this cell block.”
G.H.O.S.T. agents hadn’t started to fire yet but the second they’d step a pede outside their cages, he knew things could go badly in a blink.
The Seeker squeezed Soundwave’s servos and made sure his hold on Nightshroud was secured. His spark was beating widely in its casing, surprised his processor wasn’t giving him a hard time. Then he felt Soundwave’s servos and calm washed over him again.
They'll be fine, they'll make it out.
“Protect our backs while we make our way to the door, Soundwave.”
Trusting Soundwave could hold on his own against the agents, Starscream ran toward the exit, stopping only as they reached the first door, merely a few cells down from where they were held. Letting go of the purple bot's servo, he dodged behind crates to avoid more fire coming their way.
He peeked his helm inside the second room, filled with vans, assessing the fight raging inside.
“We’ll have to split up. Nightshroud, you know where to go for the rendezvous point.”
Starscream gently placed her down, patting her on the helm. He wanted to say more but the fire raging around them didn’t leave him much time to elaborate.
“I’m pulling rule number two on you right now. No arguing, you are leaving through that door and running for the exit, I’ll cover you.” Turning toward Soundwave, he tried to pull his most confident grin. “I’ll take the long way around since I’m the fastest. Soundwave, I’ll send you the coordinates of where to meet once you’re clear.”
The seeker’s grin faded, turning into a sad smile. Turning away from Soundwave, he took a few deep intakes before running right back to his cell, jumping in to avoid an insecticon falling down. Stepping toward the Autobot, he knelt before her, showing her a data stick poking out from one of his digits.
“Proof that G.H.O.S.T is torturing Decepticons. If I get you out of here safely, will you show these to Skyfire?”

The moment Skyfire had been dreading happened. The alarms went off, and Nightshroud was doing exactly as expected - helping Starscream to escape. Thirty years of relative peace were about to be broken; if Starscream wasn't stopped, he'd start the Great War all over again. He knew the path from Starscream's cell to the exit well, and converted to his primary mode while walking toward the entrance and heading in. He could feel it now, the locator beacon from Starscream. Even with a restraining bolt, he knew where the Air Commander was.
He ran down the hall, opening all of his missile ports and drawing his laser carbine. They were still inside, they'd only reached the first security door. If he could, he would make sure that neither saw the second. He stepped in toward Starscream, his huge shell blocking the door and the path of escape. With all of his missile ports open, carbine in hand, and face guard up, Skyfire didn't look like the peaceful scientist and explorer of old. He looked like a soldier, like an Autobot warrior ready to spend his spark to defeat the Decepticons. His protruding chassis bore the Autobrand proudly - it was glowing now as he'd unconsciously turned on his running lights in the dark halls.
He leveled the gun at Starscream. With all of his guided weapons and his carbine, he obviously had the capacity to fight, no matter whether Starscream transformed or not. Even at speed, he could fight.
The large Autobot's voice had none of its typical compassion. Instead, there was a mechanical tone behind it. As so often happened, Skyfire's damaged emotional processing circuit acting up, and he wasn't expressing the rage he felt inside. What appeared externally was determination. He didn't ask for reasons from Starscream, because he didn't care. He wasn't concerned with any of the background information, only the final result. He'd tried to help Nightshroud see that she was proceeding in an error state, and failed. Now, it was time to debug those errors manually. "Go back to your cell, Starscream, right now."
He met Starscream's optics directly, his targeting sensors and gun still fixed. He was holding off firing his ancient weapon so far as he loomed over his former friend, still trying desperately to not be the one who fired the first shot here. So far, it was 'just' an escape attempt. No one that mattered to him had been injured, so far as Skyfire knew. Right now, if they stood down, it would be just another bad day. "Non-compliance will result in violence and possible termination, both for you and Nightshroud. You have three nano-kliks to comply."
The total lack of emotion in his voice would probably be terrifying to anyone that didn't know the bot. Eight million years of stasis, followed within days by another month or so, had left his positronics with scars. They were easy enough to overlook, and they'd even started to be repaired. He could feel emotions properly now with more reliability; as time went on he grew more and more 'normal'. But times of high stress and high emotion sent spikes of power those damaged parts. Those were the times he was dangerous - when his natural compassion disappeared and left him reasoning with little more than a cold calculus.

The mountain was a very natural formation of things. Rocks, plants, nothing very interesting. After going around it I went back to the start to get back to my ship. But I noticed that the stone wall was... Glitched? The glitch disappeared but it was... Weird. Do the mountains glitch? I decided to fly low and transform to get closer to the place. The stone wall looked just as close, but when I tried to touch it my servo... It went right through!
"Cool..." If it was a fake stone wall, the road made more sense. But... Why have a fake stone wall in this place? I got closer and pushed through the wall to see what was behind it "... Super Cool!" There was a big tunnel in front of me, made of iron. The situation was strangely nostalgic. Would this be... a secret lair of a human organization? It was so exciting! Although I shouldn't be here... It wouldn't hurt anyone if I didn't touch anything or be seen, right? With such an opportunity to have fun...
Determined I transformed into a drone and flew quickly through the tunnel until I reached a large dark room. I could see a few cars and some people... And with weapons! Had he come at a bad time? But I wanted to explore a bit more... So I went to the other end of the room, flying slowly away from the humans. When I put my mind to it, I could be very stealthy. A light appeared nearby and the humans headed for it, me too. I went into the other room first, but it was a very small space. So I flew as high as I could and the humans didn't even notice me.
It was sooo exciting! Sure this was wrong but it was fun! After a while, the humans came out again when the door opened (The door opens and closes itself, that's weird) and when I tried to get out... Something appeared in front of me! It was something like a bug from Earth, but it was huge! Bigger than me! "AHHHHHHHHH" I yelled, dodged it and got out of there as fast as I could. But now I was in a completely different place! There were giant insects everywhere and humans fighting them!
I didn't know what to do, I was confused, terrified and excited. I didn't know where to go and the chaos around me didn't help! Another large insect tried to catch me and I dodged again. Standing still wasn't going to help, so I flew all over the place aimlessly. I flew into a hallway that was blinking red, there were lots of little rooms and humans and giant bugs everywhere! I noticed some yellow, purple and red things on my way, but when I wanted to turn and see what it was, I hit something big and white "Ouch!"

Leaving Clematis behind in Starscream's cell didn't bother Nightshroud in the least. She watched as her twin was tossed aside while Starscream carried her out, but she couldn't help but notice as her sire grabbed hold of the other mech's servo. Just who did Soundwave think he was getting close to Starscream like that? She didn't even want to rescue this guy. All Nightshroud wanted was to rescue Starscream and leave, but now all the Cons were out and the former air commander seemed insistent that Soundwave tag along during the escape. Still, she couldn't completely argue as she rested her frame against her adoptive sire's, clutching him tightly and refusing to let him go. It wasn't an easy escape by any means with humans everywhere firing left and right as well as the duplicating Insecticons causing havoc for everyone who got in their way.
At least it served to be a good enough distraction so they could make their escape.
What Nightshroud didn't see coming was Starscream setting her down once they had escaped into another room. She looked to him in confusion as he started to speak, patting her helm just like he always would. However, he did not bring words of comfort. Instead he said the words that she didn't want to hear. He wanted her to escape without him.
"No. No, I'm NOT leaving you!" As she shrieked, Nightshroud flinched as Starscream told her not to argue about it. As he turned away from her, speaking to Soundwave she began to tremble. She'd come all this way to rescue him, and now he was ordering her to leave without him. She didn't care if he was so sure that he could escape via another means. What Nightshroud saw was her sire sacrificing himself yet again to protect her; that she was losing him all over again.. and all of her efforts had been for nothing. She wanted to shout for him to stop and just flee with her, but Starscream was already gone. She didn't even get a chance to say good-bye..
Lost in her panic, the crimson seeker just barely caught a glimpse of a blue servo reaching for her shoulder. She quickly turned, swatting the servo away with her own before glaring daggers at Soundwave. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" His actions only furthered her panic as Nightshroud trembled, shaking her helm before bolting for the exit and transforming. The femme took off like a rocket, but not for the abandoned military base. Not yet. First she needed to go to where she'd abandoned her blade to retrieve it, and she planned to just stay there for awhile.
She just wanted to be alone.

Clematis was tossed onto the floor of the cell, watching helplessly as Starscream, Soundwave and Nightshroud fled without her. She continued to struggle in her bonds, but knew she wasn't getting out of them easily. She had the key, but with her servos locked behind her it was going to be incredibly difficult to maneuver herself in a way that she could actually fit the key in the locking mechanism. Resigning herself to her fate, Clematis sighed as she watched the chaos happening outside the cell. GHOST soldiers were shooting every which way and escaped Decepticons were fighting back as well. Honestly she was surprised that none of them had attempted to use her as a hostage, but maybe it was for the best that she focused on trying to stay safe tucked away in the opened cell.
Still, she couldn't help but think about Nightshroud. Clematis wasn't angry with her twin at all. True she felt somewhat hurt, but that was dulled by the fact that she'd seemed so much happier around Starscream. The thought couldn't leave her processor, and she was worried about her sister. She just wanted Nightshroud to be happy and safe, and the internal panic she felt through their split spark bond had not helped in any way.
As if right on cue she figured out what that panic likely had been caused by as Starscream suddenly returned to the cell. The azure and lilac femme looked to him not in fear but in confusion. Why in the world had he come back when he just as easily could have escaped with the others? Clematis watched as the seeker crouched down, showing her a datastick of some kind. In exchange for ensuring she escaped safely, Starscream wanted her to share the information on the datastick with Skyfire.. that Decepticons were being tortured by GHOST. Her optics widened, stunned by the revelation. She already didn't like how the Decepticons were just being locked up, but to hear that they were being tortured as well? Even if she wanted to she couldn't grab the datastick with her servos cuffed behind her. "I.."
Before she could even agree to Starscream's demands, a familiar figure showed up just outside the cell. Clematis' optics lit up as she spotted Skyfire, but she wasn't certain if he had noticed her yet. However her excitement didn't last as her friend immediately threatened to open fire on the former air commander, but also threatened to harm Nightshroud as well. That excitement quickly turned to fear, knowing that if Skyfire did manage to kill her twin there was a chance she would die too from the spark bond.
"Skyfire, don't!!"
As she cried out for her friend not to fire, Clematis hadn't noticed the Mini-Con that had joined them. She was much too focused on her large friend and trying to keep herself out of harm's way. Even still, there was a part of her that didn't want anything bad to happen to Starscream either. If he really did manage to get through to Nightshroud.. she couldn't bare the thought of her twin losing the one thing that made her happy.
