Grabbing the broken wing was a cheap move but it accomplished what Starscream wanted. Skywarp was finally giving up why she was harassing him. What she was saying and who she was saying it to did not please him at all. Nothing was wrong with his spark, he knew perfectly well what was going on.
Nightshroud agreeing that his spark was fine was a relief, at least his sparkling believed him. Not that he could say the same about his beloved. Who chose that moment to interject with his own hypothesis.
Starscream was getting offended to be sidelined on the conversation revolving around him. Clearing his throat,
“Can you all not talk about me as if I’m not here? I’m plenty aware of what’s going on with my spark. I’ve also tried to talk about it, but when I mentioned it, someone chalked it as me being nostalgic."
Turning his helm toward Soundwave, he glared at the blue mech.
“Didn’t you, Soundwave?”

Skywarp was expecting a lot of excuses, some lies, but she never expected Starscream to tell the truth without it being pried out of him under torture. She was so shocked she even forgot to fight back, staring at her older brother with her jaw hanging loose.
Since when was Starscream forthcoming? Truthful? Ah. It was to be mean to someone. For a moment there, Skywarp was worried. She busted out in a loud laughter, pointing at Soundwave.
“OOOOOOOH, SOMEONE IS IN TROUBLE! C’MON SCREAMER, LET’S GET REVEEEENGE!!”
With a cackle, the femme launched herself forward, claws out and ready to pounce on Soundwave.

Oh..
Nightshroud sheathed her scimitar, wings drooping as she glanced away feeling somewhat ashamed of herself. She knew that Starscream wasn't mad at her. She knew that he was likely directing his comment at Soundwave and Skywarp, but the way he'd said if made her feel like she was included in that as well. Skywarp had just wound her up so badly, and she hadn't exactly helped the situation either by how she'd reacted. "I'm sorry, sire.." She spoke dejectedly, but it was clear when Starscream spoke once more that his ire was most certainly directed at Soundwave. So he knew something that she didn't about his spark..? What was going on, and why hadn't she been told about it?
Was it something really that bad?

Just what was Starscream talking about? What had he allegedly tried to tell him back in the cage that Soundwave had mistaken for nostalgia?
There had been many things that they'd talked about, and there were many times where Soundwave was left either trying to understand what Starscream was saying or feeling frustrated because the seeker didn't understand him. He recalled many moments and things they discussed, but then as Skywarp threatened to attack that's when it clicked. There had been one moment where Starscream had asked Soundwave to play old Cybertronian music, and he had acted strangely; suddenly begging him to stop. He had said something about feeling like his spark wanted to burst out and fly to Cybertron. At the time he believed Starscream was talking about the feeling of homesickness, but replaying that conversation now with what the former air commander had just said.. was there a hidden context he wasn't aware of?
"When you spoke, I believed you to be suffering from homesickness. I had no other reason to believe otherwise, but it seems your implication implies otherwise. I apologize if I misconstrued your words, but given the situation I do not believe I could have interpreted it any other way." Soundwave sighed, leaning against the doorway. "If you desire, speak it now. Allow us to understand."

Starscream ex-vented and yanked on his little sister’s broken wing, restraining Skywap from launching herself at Soundwave… for now.
“No need to apologize, Nightshroud. I did not share this information on purpose. It’s in my best interest that no one hears about this, I endured enough as it in G.H.O.S.T. captivity. If I’m ever thrown back in the cage, I’d rather this information be not known.”
The Seeker huffed, focused on wrestling to keep his hold on Skywarp.
“I don’t have anything to say about it. I was the nearest when the bridge exploded, when I woke up, something wrong was fixed and a new problem was created.”
Starscream shrugged, wanting the subject to be over. He didn’t like to dwell on it too much, it only gave him a helm ache.

Lies and more lies. As usual, Starscream was lying, covering, diminishing. She had seen it over and over again. He kept justifying the lies under the pretext of protecting them and for the duration of the war, she had let it slide. No more.
Skywarp frowned, wriggling around until she could slap a servos on her big brother’s face.
“STOP LYING. WHY CAN’T YOU SPEAK THE TRUTH FOR ONCE. I KNOW YOU’RE LYING, I CAN FEEL IT IN YOUR SPARK.”
With a red and white flash, she disappeared, continuing her small teleportation jumps until she was on the roof of the main hangar. Grumbling, she started to kick loose pieces of roofing, cursing Starscream and his fragging lies.

The moment Starscream said Nightshroud didn't need to apologize, her wings perked right back up as a soft smile grew on her face. She felt so relieved to hear him say that.
She completely trusted Starscream, and if he said there was a good reason why he did not want to discuss what was going on with her spark she fully believed him without question. It did make her curious, especially after Skywarp's outburst, but she would not pry. It was none of her business and asking to view someone's spark was just a little bit awkward for everyone. It was something extremely personal, and she wasn't about to add that extra bit of stress to her sire. He already had enough going on with Skywarp, especially after she slapped him. Yes he had grabbed her first, but that slap sent waves of anger through the young femme. How dare Skywarp lay a servo on him like that?! Nightshroud glared at the femme as she screamed, and just like that she was gone with a flash of light.
Sighing, she let herself calm down before approaching her sire. "Are you okay..?" Nightshroud spoke softly, a look of growing concern on her face. She could easily take off and go look for Skywarp, but she could tell that Starscream was stressed out. She needed to make sure that he was okay first. "I'll go look for Skywarp, and I'm not taking no for an answer. I promise not to kill her." Nightshroud stepped back, smiling a little. "Unless you want me to." She chuckled a bit, clearly joking before she moved passed Soundwave to exit the repair shop.
Once outside she powered up her afterburners and it didn't take long to spot Skywarp on the roof, and so Nightshroud flew up there, arms crossed as she hovered in the air. Seeing the other femme seeker kicking parts of the roofing didn't exactly sit well with her. "You know.. I worked hard on that."

So Starscream was still keeping his secrets, but Soundwave at least understood. There were times when keeping secrets were vital and learning the truth actually did more harm than good, but with the conversation he was more curious than ever just what was going on. Despite Starscream's insistence that he was fine, Skywarp demanded explanations with a verbal shriek and a slap to the face. Soundwave growled in retaliation, noting that Nightshroud was by no means happy about the other femme's actions and just as expected that's when the purple and black femme fled.
It seemed Nightshroud was prepared to go after her, promising Starscream that she wouldn't kill his sister unless he really wanted her to. The Spymaster let the young seeker pass him, just leaving himself and Starscream in the repair shop.
"Starscream.." Soundwave sighed, shaking his helm. Just what was it that he was hiding? To say that he felt different after the explosion of the space bridge, to feel something fixed yet to have a new problem as well.. For Skywarp to insist there was something wrong.. What could it mean? Could it have had anything to do with the AllSpark? No, that couldn't have been possible.. could it? The blue mech approached Starscream, raising a servo to tenderly touch the seeker's cheek with his digits. He looked Starscream over, trying to assess what damage Skywarp had left if any. "I see things between the two of you are as good as ever. Do you intent to ask your sister to stay with us should your sparkling track her down?"

Starscream growled and glared as Skywarp wriggled, intake dropping in shock after the slap. Not only was Skywarp yelling in his audials but her desperation was pulsating in their bond. As much as he tried to keep it buried, it was harder to ignore when she was so close and her emotions were so strong.
HURT. WORRY. WORRY.
A flash and she was gone. Starscream ex-vented, shaking his helm. He smiled as Nightshroud got closer, seeing the worry in her optics.
“I’m fine, nothing we haven’t been through a million times already… and no killing Skywarp. She’s useful.” He waited for his sparkling to be gone before mumbling the rest of his thoughts. “Sometimes.”
It only left Soundwave. The Seeker huffed and pushed the servo away, turning his back and going back to what he was working on before being interrupted.
“She has her uses, even if she can be a huge pain in the aft.”
Now how could he make this fragging machine convert faster without increasing the power it needs to run?

She hated when Starscream lied to her face like that, and about something as important as his spark. Skywarp could feel something was wrong, even if he was stubborn and denying it. Taking her rage out was nice and the roof was so messed up it wouldn’t change much in her opinion.
She heard the thrusters but didn’t turn around, expecting Starscream to say something mean. Skywarp turned around, surprised, when she heard the voice belonging to the young femme. With a flash she appeared right in front of her, a huge grin on her face.
“Well, you did a bad job.”
With a cackle, she was gone, reappearing on the roof of a barrack across the tarmac, resuming her kicking and tantrum.

A bad job?
She had done a bad job?!
Nightshroud promised to be good but it was so tempting to slug Skywarp for her taunting. Maybe that's why Starscream had been so riled up by the femme but before she knew it the other femme was already gone. Skywarp's teleportation was starting to irk the young seeker, looking around to see where the purple and black one had gone and there she was on the roof of another building doing the same exact thing that she was doing. Growling in frustration, Nightshroud zipped over to Skywarp's new location, arms uncrossed but fists clenched tightly.
"What is your problem?!" The crimson seeker glared at her apparent aunt. "Starscream isn't lying. He hasn't been lying for some time now, but none of you want to believe him! I would have offlined a long time ago if it weren't for him. If he says he doesn't want to talk about what's going on, then I completely believe him. He isn't trying to hide anything. He's just trying to keep us safe!" Safe from what she didn't know, but her adoptive sire clearly had a reason for not wanting to talk about his spark issues. She had thought maybe he was referring to the immortality thing, but he'd told her and Soundwave about that. Was there something more than his inability to be terminated? "Oh that's right you wouldn't understand, would you? I'm his trine now."
Probably not the best thing to say, but in the heat of the moment tempers flared. That and she only knew of Skywarp as Starscream's former trinemate from the stories he told. She didn't realize that Skywarp was his sister.

Soundwave sighed as Starscream shoved his servo away. Was he still mad about things from all those months ago?
Still it seemed like he was trying to focus on whatever it was he was attempting to build. Soundwave stood there in silence just watching Starscream while trying to figure out what to even say. It was clear he was frustrated because of Skywarp and hopefully Nightshroud was making good on her promise to not kill the other femme, but there was this unspoken tension between Starscream and himself. It bothered him maybe a little more than it should have, but maybe now that they had some privacy now was as good a time as any to discuss things. That was if the seeker was willing to talk that was to say.
"And what of me?" He had to start somewhere he supposed, so why not just come out and say it.

Starscream slammed his servo on the table, tools and bits of metal falling on the floor. The little patience he had left was gone in an instant. The Seeker turned around, glaring back at Soundwave.
“Why do I have to hold your servo all the time? Where’s the Spymaster I’ve known for eons?”
He stomped closer umbrageously, lifting a servo and pointing a digit accusingly.
“Let’s break it down as if you were a sparkling, shall we?” The Seeker started to pace in a circle, ranting angrily. “First, we’ll start with the most outlandish. You know I don’t want to talk about it but you have ways to find out. If you really thought, like Skywarp, that my spark is in so much danger, you’d have found a way. Second, I already told you about it in the cage but was dismissed. I even can quote myself back, spare you the bother: ‘Nothing like this has ever happened to me. It felt like my spark wanted to burst out and fly back to Cybertron’. Third, have you taken a pit forsaken moment to look at my optics?”
Starscream spun to face Soundwave, shaking with fury.
“Compile this to your epic blunder with the HUMAN CHILD, my level of trust with you is pretty low. In conclusion, will you stop wasting time with useless Earth and Autobot business, finally listen and help me get back to Cybertron already?”
Fury was melting into desperation. He could only keep the waves of desperation pulsing from his spark for so long. It had already bled in his bond with his sisters. Time to give Soundwave a taste of what he’s been going through.
Starscream lifted his servo, resting it against the blue mech’s face as he did earlier. Closing his optics, he let the overwhelming sensation that had disturbed his spark since the explosion wash over him.

Skywarp kicked one last piece of the roof before ex-venting, looking like her older brother for a moment, tense and on edge over something. It was gone quickly, replaced by her usual rage. This time she didn’t bother keeping the volume down.
“YOU DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ‘SPARKLING’. MY BROTHER IS A LIAR, ALWAYS IS ALWAYS WILL BE. YOU ARE NO SPARKLING AND HE HIS NOT YOUR SIRE. YOU BARELY ARE A SEEKER, WHAT EVEN ARE YOU?”
With a flash she was gone, reappearing behind the smaller femme.
“Trines are OUTDATED FUNCTIONALIST SLAG that’s been PARROTED FOR EONS. Starscream is MY BROTHER, Nova Storm and I are HIS REAL FAMILY, you are NOT. You’re a PLAYTHING that he’ll get BORED OF AND MOVE ON when you have accomplished your PURPOSE. That’s who Starscream WAS, IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE.”
With another warp she was gone, back on the roof to kick tiles.
“There’s SOMETHING WRONG with his SPARK and I’m not leaving until HE TELLS ME WHAT IT IS.”

Skywarp had somehow managed to push every wrong button imaginable and then some.
Telling Nightshroud she wasn't Starscream's sparkling nor was he her sire? Bad idea. Telling her that she was not his real family? Even worse idea. But sinking so low to criticize Nightshroud's own appearance, saying that she was barely even a seeker and questioning what she even was?
That was the breaking point. It had been awhile since Nightshroud had been this angry with someone. This was a level not even Soundwave or Skyfire combined had reached as the crimson seeker trembled with unbridled rage. When Skywarp finished her taunts and insults, the young femme swung around to strike her only for to find nothing but air. She looked angrily for the other femme, spotting her back on the roof kicking tiles. She promised she wasn't going to try and kill Skywarp, but she wanted to make her hurt.
Throttling her afterburners to maximum burst, Nightshroud rocketed through the air throwing the hardest punch she could at Skywarp as she screamed in anger.
"SHUT UP!! You don't know ANYTHING about me! You know NOTHING about what I've been through!" She kept swinging her fists, trying as hard as she could to strike the femme. She didn't even care if she was Starscream's sister. Skywarp had crossed a line. "You were never fragging there for Starscream! You never fragging cared! He never even called you his sister around me. Not once! I have been more family to him than you OR Thundercracker have ever been! Starscream gave me EVERYTHING! A home! A family! He gave me MY LIFE BACK, so don't you EVER tell me I'm not his real family, because where the fragging hell have YOU been this whole time?!" Picking up a piece of loose tiling, Nightshroud chucked it at Skywarp. "It's bots like YOU who NEVER made me feel like I could ever be myself! You're so fragging quick to judge! It's bots like YOU who RUINED VOS!"
The crimson seeker screamed angrily once more. "I hate you!"
